Okay, some things really do run in the family...
This is Raee, the beautiful 2-year-old daughter of the beautiful Liya Kebede. They are featured on the new cover of Cookie magazine and, even though I don't have kids yet, I will be racing out to buy this issue! I spotted these pictures on YBF today and I immediately clicked over to Cookie to see the rest of the spread.
Turns out that Liya has decided that she is not busy enough as a mother, model and activist. She has designed a line of children's clothing called Lemlem ("to bloom" in Amharic) and the clothes are handmade in Ethiopia. Lemlem is available at Scoop Kids (212-691-1926), Seedless Watermelon, (718) 376-2020, Calypso Christiane Celle, (212) 219-8900 and Sons + Daughters, (212) 253-7797.
Check out Cookie for more information and an interview with Liya.
On Raee (from top): Peasant striped onesie, $125, and blue striped scarf (comes with a party dress), $144. Party dress and scarf, $144. Gaze embroidered hoodie, $158.
