I wanted to write about these cute mineral eyeshadow pots (100% pure mineral pigments designed to go over your eyeshadow) for a few weeks, but for some reason, I got it in my head that they were by Benefit. Wrong! I kept searching Benefit's site and even Sephora looking for the "sexpots". I could not understand why I saw them in Sephora, yet I could not find them on the websites for Sephora or Benefit. Well, I finally decided to take a look at my purse for an address or a phone number and voila!
They are by TheBalm! It's a good thing I finally took a closer look! You would think I would know exactly what I bought, but I think the irreverent names from TheBalm's Sexpot Series threw me off.
All of the colors are great, but of course my favorite is the one that looks good on me - the shimmering mauve. Although it's designed to go on over your eyeshadow, generally I am not that ambitious and I will just dust it on all by it's lonesome. The only side-effect that I have noticed is that I am still quite single...
TheBalm Overshadow $14.00. If You're Rich, I'm Single (mauve pewter), No Money, No Honey
(gold), You Buy, I'll Fly
(copper), Work is Overrated
(pink champagne).

You had me with these adorable pinup girl labels....must investigate immediately!!

Hey, its s funny that you are writing this story, because just last week i went to sephora to buy a bronzer. At the end of my 1 hour of face paint play, I found myself in line with the new Bahama Mama bronzer by The Balm, that was perfect for my honey brown skin. However, I though that The Balm was a new line by benefit, until i got home, their packaging is so similar!

These look fun! I'm glad you can wear them alone, as I was confused by the idea of layering them over eyeshadow.
