I attended the launch of Rachel Roy's new line for Macy's last night, RACHEL Rachel Roy. As I mentioned on Twitter, I liked what I saw - wearable, funky pieces that skew young, but with many doable pieces for everyone. Rachel Roy told me in the video above that the line is the "little sister" to her designer collection, younger to be sure, but with the same refined sensibility.
Here's a bit of trivia for you - the DJ at the launch was Alexandra Richards (below at right). She is a model... and the daughter of Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards.
am feeling the tunic in the third pic.. a nice treatment of animal print which i refuse to wear!

I like the tunic and quite a few of the shoes. I'm also not a big fan of animal prints unless it is something that is just too great to miss (which doesn't happen often:)
