I was so happy to see this article in the Guardian about Corinne Bailey Rae and her upcoming album, her first since the death of her husband, saxophonist Jason Rae in 2007. I discovered her in the neatest way possible and then had the best random encounter with her (yes, it involved hair) that led to her leaving me tickets for her concert that night.
I am so happy to hear that she is doing well and on the way back so soon. Check out this video from Corinne's official website where she gives us a sneak peak of the new album.

I hope her "pre-tour" brings her to the US as well - especially NYC!
