If there were ever a time to fill up your 55 Beauty Bag, it's at The Makeup Show. The Makeup Show is a huge trade event that brings together top brands (big and small), special seminars and workshops and one-time only exclusive offers for industry pros. I met a slew of my beauty blogger pals there and had a great time. And yes, I picked up a few things along the way.
After playing around with some lip glosses, I snapped up two pomegranate smudge pots from Stila, which are now discontinued.
I was really impressed with L'Oreal's HIP Kohl Eyeliner. I love how can shake a little powder out for eye shadow!
A butterfly at the Temptu booth.
There was a lot of airbrushing going on. Airbrushing that you can now do at home on your own. The bottom photo is a pro from Luminess Air giving a seminar on do-it-yourself airbrushing.
MAC was in the house of course, with their unstoppable bodypainting.
While I bought some MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Invisible Cover Foundation for myself in 178 Chestnut, my friend Tayari wanted in on the action and asked me to pick up "anything" for her. So, I emailed this photo of Three Custom Color's Warm Lipstick Palette. Sold!
