On day 1 of New York Fashion Week inside The Standard Hotel New York based designer Katie Gallagher showed her Fall/Winter 2012 Collection 'Silent Soil". The Collection was about "Bringing the atomosphere of the places that the spirit know to the placed that the body lives." Gallagher's designs tell a story and I definitely felt different moods from each of the pieces as they appeared on the runway.
I loved the structure of the garments, at first the collection seemed dark but cream, green and light gray were seen throughout.
The detail, fabric and movement of this dress was beautiful.
I wanted to take this green skirt with me. I love the color and the movement.
This cream jacket was taliored so nicely.
I'm so the girl that loves anything peplum so this top was one of my favorites.
Adorable dress. Like a mature babydoll with an edge.
