Tinted moisturizers have never been my thing. And why would they be since, by and large, most of them weren't made any darker than a steaming cup of café au lait. Beauty companies have vastly improved their foundation selections over the years, but too many still stop at a "deep" shade that doesn't go very... deep.
To my surprise, NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer doesn't leave my skin with that unfortunate yellowish chalky cast that foundation that is too light leaves on darker skin. No, I am able to go out in public within minutes of literally slapping the stuff on my face. It brightens my skin, as in a nice subtle glow that makes me look finished even before I apply any lipstick. A procrastinator's dream.
