1.) MAC 'To the Beach' Bronze Body Oil in Man Rays (top right) I have smoothed this bronzey not-greasy-at-all oil on my legs and arms twice (once in a bright orange top and once in a bright red dress) and both times complete strangers were like, "Wow! What do you use?" It's limited edition, so I better grab a few more before they are gone forever.
2.) Schick Quattro For Women Trim Style Razor & Bikini Trimmer
- One of the benefits of having a backlog of beauty products to review is having the time to try them out for while. This razor has quickly become enough of a staple for me that I actually buy it now which, I would think, is my highest endorsement.
3.) Oyin's Sugar Pomades (bottom left in top photo) in Burnt Sugar and Sugar Berries - I don't know what took me so long to finally try Oyin, but my twists love the Burnt Sugar pomade. Beautiful shine and it smells so good! And I love the Bennus - Jamyla and Pierre, the husband and wife founders behind Oyin and their crazy cast of Honeybees, also known as their employees. No wonder their products are so great - they are made with love and fortified with magic. And hilarity!
4.) CoverGirl's Blast Flipstick Lipstick in Glimmer I have been known to go as far as to tuck lipstick in my bra when I need a touch up (and can't get to my purse) but on Flipstick days, that is not necessary. This blendable lip duo (one shimmer, one cream shade) really does last all day.
5.) Borghese Fango Active Mud for Face & Body I try so many others and I always come back home. I have been using this mud for eons - it was one of my first big deal purchases back in the day - and it always works for me. It brings clarity to my skin and makes me look as if I've had a full night's sleep when that almost never the case.
6.) Speaking of the beach, I will definitely be packing Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 Beauty Balm Skin Perfector SPF 30 in Deep. In all honesty, I didn't even try it out when the package arrived from Maybelline. Instead, I dispensed the lighter shades out to my newly assembled informal glam squad, who reported stellar results back to me.
I was intrigued enough to finally try Deep, and was pleasantly surprised that it actually worked on me (I wasn't expecting it to match) but I try to save it for days when my skin is looking particularly good and I just want a bit of a boost.

Was in my local drugstore, saw a display for the Maybelline Dream Fresh and tried it because I'd read about it here...LOVE THIS STUFF. Perfect for summer (or winter days) when doing the whole makeup thing isn't necessary, but you still want to look polished. Will be stocking up! Thanks Nichelle! ~Virginia

I have been wanting to try to Maybelline BB cream for some time now and after reading your post, I really want to go purchase it. The Covergirl Blast Flipstick also looks like a great cosmetic for summer! Great post!
