I am very excited about my latest interview, a fabulous piece on NPR's Picture Show blog by Tanya Ballard Brown. She really captured the essence of what I am trying to do with the Vintage Black Glamour blog and forthcoming book. The picture above, via Michael Ochs archives/Getty Images, is the one and only Josephine Baker (sans her famous banana skirt - I have issues with her being limited to that banana skirt...) getting a pedicure.
