James Boehmer, NARS Director of Global Artistry, called Carmen Marc Valvo's Fall 2013 collection "baroque with a punk edge" and wanted the makeup to evoke that feeling. "The eyeliner is a reference to a classic eyeline, but with a punk spirit, so it’s not perfect, not delicate. The skin is very luminous;we talked about the girls looking slightly haunted, but in a pretty way."

. On the eyes, eyeshadow single Himalayas was paired with the eyeshadow duo, Alhambra and set with 'Larger Than Life' Long Wear Eyeliner and Volumizing Mascara Black
in Black. NARS Triple X
lip gloss was applied to the eyelids to finish the look. On the lips: Lipliner pencil in Salsa
and Velvet Matte Lipstick Pencil in Belle De Jour
was topped with Pure Matte Lipstick in Madere
