Elle Macpherson Intimates is a longtime favorite of mine, even though I tend to have an automatic bias against "celebrity designers." Every editor is always assured that the celebrity is "very hands-on" with the designs, and in Elle Macpherson's case, whether it's true or not, she's got some good stuff. It's well-made, well-priced and it lasts for quite sometime. When I paid a visit to the Madison Avenue showroom of Bendon (EMI's parent company) last month to take a look at Elle's latest collection, I was happy to see that one of my favorites, 'Sheer Ribbons' (below in black) was still available.
The lingerie in the opening picture is by Pleasure State, a line that expands to accommodates plus-size (DD to G cup) figures.
