Fashion Indie Week - Brooklyn!

My friend Busie Matsiko at Fashion Indie emailed me with a correction - it's Fashion Indie Week - Brooklyn not Brooklyn Fashion Week!




The show on the Brooklyn Bridge was quite an adventure - for the models!  They walked the entire length of the bridge, navigating runners, walkers, bystanders, photographers and (many!) hostile bikers.



New York Couture's show and party is next week.  A (fashion) nation of millions will surely attend.


Bob Bland (in the middle!) the designer behind the Williamsburg-based Brooklyn Royalty and her models.  Charrell loved the shirts - they change colors!



Here is Zulema Griffin with her model Kiley.  Charrell is covering her show at Boucarou Lounge tonight.  Here is the kicker: There will be no live models - the entire show is on film.  More on that (and Zulema's collection) later.
