Get Ready - It's Revenge of the Curves!

 I thought that I would be able to squeeze in a little health and fitness content here eventually, but I think keeping 55 Secret Street exclusively beauty and fashion is a better fit.  So, please allow me to introduce you to Revenge of the Curves, my new blog about food, health and fitness! 

At Revenge of the Curves (read the explanation for the name here) we're going to talk about things that affect our beauty and fashion choices eventually - food and dieting, working out, body image, emotional and mental health.  Revenge of the Curves (or, Curvaceous on Twitter) will also share the 55 Q&A column with this site and have interviews with experts in various fields.  We even have our very own Medical Columnist, Mana Kasongo, M.D., whom you will love.  Send her an email at Dr.Kasongo@revengeoftheurves.com and she will answer your women's health questions every Thursday in her column, Ask Dr. Kasongo.

We will also have guest bloggers, so if you would like to share your experiences with weight gain and loss, your exercise routine or another food, health or fitness related topic, send an email to GuestBlogger@revengeofthecurves.com and we'll chat.

As you may be able to tell by the banner, Revenge of the Curves is primarily geared towards women of color.  However, all are welcome and we will feature books, recipes, workouts and expert Q&A's by people of all colors.
