When you think of pigs feet, do you think of gourmet delicacies? How about black truffles? Well, normally I would have to say no but believe it or not, I have actually eaten pigs feet in Manhattan. At Le Cirque no less (the pigs feet in the opening picture are from Les Halles on Park Avenue in Manhattan).
I was at a small birthday dinner for my cousin a few years ago when we all started cracking up when we spotted pigs feet on the menu under appetizers for $16.00 (who knows how much they charge now!)
The taste? Underwhelming. The "guilty pleasure" was purely for the novelty of it.
They sell pigs feet at Le Cirque? Who knew? LOL
