I saw Anna Deavere Smith's latest one-woman show "Let Me Down Easy" at the Second Stage Theater in New York and, not surprisingly, absolutely loved it. Through the portrayal of people from all sides of the issue (the late former Texas Governor Ann Richards, writer/activist Eve Ensler, the late ABC News movie critic Joel Siegel and more), Deavere Smith illuminates aspects of the health care debate that have taken a backseat to the economic issues that dominate the public discourse.
