Home Goods hosted a media holiday preview a few weeks ago and Carson Kressley was on hand to give a few of us a few tips and ideas for gifts, stocking stuffers and, of course a few things to keep for ourselves. I always think of Home Goods as a suburban store, but there is a huge location on 97th street and Columbus Avenue on the upper west side that almost makes you forget that you are in New York City. It's the perfect one-stop spot for last minute holiday shoppers like myself who rarely get around to doing any real shopping before, say, December 20th in any given year.
Walking around the store is like seeing your Pinterest boards coming to life - in your price range! A perfectly serviceable and adorable (red!) French press for just $7.99. It works just as well as more expensive ones I have used and would make a great gift for any coffee enthusiast that you know who doesn't already have one. I would also give (and keep!) so many of the awesome cocktail accessories on hand. Of course, if you are stumped on what to give, a gift card (especially one that doesn't expire) never hurts - especially if you wrap it really nicely.
Oooh! What's in the box? I had a lot of fun with Carson Kressley at Home Goods.
